Troubleshooting

Quick fixes for common issues.

Highlight not showing

Make sure Cursor Highlighter Pro is running from your menu bar. Try quitting and reopening the app, then toggle the main highlight switch off and back on.

High CPU or battery drain

Lower the ring size and glow in Preferences, and avoid using very large pulse effects on laptops running on battery power.

Issues with multiple displays

If the highlight appears on the wrong display, disconnect and reconnect your external monitors or toggle “Mirror Displays” off and on in System Settings → Displays.
