Features
Designed for creators, educators, and remote support teams who need a clean, hardware-accelerated cursor highlight that looks great in Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Loom, OBS, and macOS screen recordings.
Choose ring size, glow, and contrast presets that stay crisp on both light and dark scenes.
Runs at display refresh rate with GPU-friendly rendering so recordings stay smooth.
Screen‑recorder–friendly overlay that uses a borderless non‑activating panel, remains visible over fullscreen apps, and avoids capture artifacts in OBS, Loom, and macOS native recording.
No network calls, no analytics. Everything happens locally on your Mac. No background services, no hidden daemons, no internet access — the app’s entire behavior is local.
Setup
Download the latest build, open the app, and drag it into Applications.
From the menu bar icon, enable “Open at Login” so the highlighter is always ready when you plug into a call or start recording.
Open Preferences to choose ring colors and click pulses.
Troubleshooting
Make sure Cursor Highlighter Pro is running from your menu bar. Try quitting and reopening the app, then toggle the main highlight switch off and back on.
Lower the ring size and glow in Preferences, and avoid using very large pulse effects on laptops running on battery power.
If the highlight appears on the wrong display, disconnect and reconnect your external monitors or toggle “Mirror Displays” off and on in System Settings → Displays.
